5- Resilient Spiritual Guide / Ethical Minister

" To see a world in a grain of sand,
and heaven in a wild flower...hold
infinity in the palm of your hand,
eternity in an hour." William Blake

A Storm is brewing in the North-West,
and as Darkness approaches, I am soon
pelted with hail and engulfed in chaos.
Loud booms of thunder, shake, rattle
and roll across the distant hills of the
valley, heralding flashes of lightening.
I can barely see out of the windshield
of my vehicle, with wipers on high.

Navigating muddy fields to rescue

 my elder Brother's Dog, I zoom home,
rain-drenched, to re-assure my own.
Checking on Mom and e-mailing Son,
I access internet for weather update
then browse Face Book and Twitter.
No volcanic activity or earthquaking
shifts, to cause any more concern.

Lighting a candle, I pray protection

for Mother Earth and all living beings,
trusting we'll grow strong and resilient.
True to the resonant nature of prayer,
the vibration of healing energy is raised
by Spirit Sisters who virtually join me.
We visualize Loved Ones and the World
embraced in a sacred Healing Light.

Intensity subsides, as the Goddess of

Wind redirects the Storm, leaving us
bathed in mystical peace and quiet.
Feeling my Heart open with waves
of compassion, I receive inspiration
from a dear Unity Minister friend.
Preparing for Sunday Service, they
write about the power of Nature:

"My earliest experiences of Spiritual

Insight occurred in the Sanctuary of a
Natural World. Long before I found the
Divine in worship and meditative practice,
I encountered the Sacred in the harmony
 and the peaceful milieu of a quiet Creek
that ran beyond my Childhood Home."
Rev. Schellink Unity of Davis

I smile, as I recall the many seeds

of intention prayed together daily
before work, at our Unity Church.
Firm in our support for each other,
we now walk our own Spiritual Paths
aware of the "Illusions of Separation."
Offering gratitude, my inner-Ethical
Minister accepts this sacred gift
of evolving Spiritual Friendship.

As Personal and Global Awareness

continues to awaken, we have the
courage to clearly speak the truth.
May we emerge stronger and more
resilient after facing inner-Demons,
and resolving all forms of duality.
May our outer and inner- Families
joyfully dance in service to Peace.

"As we give sway to an intuitive awareness
that recognizes the Sacred all around us,
we are doing, perhaps all we can do, to
heal our relationship with Mother Earth
With a renewed sense of appreciation,
and love, we will find all the right
ways to bless, and to serve, this
hallowed land, Earth, our Home. "

4- Resilient Father / Vigilant Guardian

The
Divine Masculine principle
on

Earth is actively dreaming, exploring,
building new forms as Visionary Pioneer.
Mastering the transforming element
of Fire, the Male energy within us,
embodies objective discernment.
A Nobel Leader, he also embodies
qualities of the protective Father.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Red-tailed Hawk, circles above,
as I walk along a sacred River Path,
lined with some fragrant mugwort.
The aroma triggers memories of
fishing trips with my Father who
is now adventuring in Heaven.
His Father, my Gramps, was
stoic, world class Cowboy.
My Grandfather's Mother Sara,
pioneered her way across the US
via covered wagon, with her family.
Their Pioneering Spirit, continues to
evolve within my Pisces/Aries Soul,
through my teaching and creations.
Someday I would love to retrace
that journey of my Ancestors.
Sounding a war cry, Hawk swoops
down to snag his vulnerable prey,
to sustain himself and baby eyas.
His brave, solitary, hunting skills,
inspire me to reflect on my true
nature as a devoted single parent.
Questing self-sufficiency, my noble
inner-Male embodies Resiliency.
Observing sparks on water currents,
my gaze rises to the taps of a large
Woodpecker drilling rhythmically.
Seeking a meal, his repetitive,
percussion, echoes in Staccato
activating a late afternoon song.
Nature sings the harmony of life,
with such vibrancy and excitement.
Gathering acorns beneath an oak tree,
a bushy tailed, Grey Squirrel scampers
vertical, as human footsteps approach.
Scampering joyfully, he leaves his trail
within some blue -violet ground cover.
Inhaling the sweet aroma of lavender
and lilac, my senses open and fill.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I was born into a Paternal Clan of

Hunters, and a Maternal Tribe of
Farmers, within a fertile Valley.
Entwining these two ancestral
branches of my Tree of Life, I have
a balanced inner-Male and Female
Light and Shadow dance within me,
tempering aggression, creating peace.

Returning to our family Aikido Dojo,
I light a candle and pull a card from

Sacred Path Cards, #1~ The Pipe.
This message speaks to the true
nature of Prayer and Inner-Peace

" Your Dreams will reveal if you are to walk
the Sacred Path of the
Pipe Holder, who
speaks the truth, prays gratitude,
heals
wounded broken relationships and brings
Peace between warring tribes / clans."

" Pipe of my Ancestors
teach me to sing praise,
for all the many gifts

Great Mystery gave.

Allow me to know

my Spirit's release,

bring to my heart

eternal
Peace."
(Sacred Path Cards #1-Pipe)

Listening to the music of
Suzanne Sterling, I am
touched by the lyrics
of her enchanting song,
" Sweeter than Honey "

"You fill my Cup... its flowing over.
I am the Dream, You are the Dreamer."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"This World is so cold sometimes,
you gotta take ahold, take ahold,
of someone who might understand."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"They might Touch you, they might Teach
you, they might Hurt you, they might
let you go but until you try, until you
cry, you ain't never gonna know."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Can we Love each other?
Can we Trust one another?
Can we Surrender? Can we
give ourselves to Love?"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

" Live courageously and

take a chance on Love.
Maybe find it in yourself,
before you find it out there."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
" You fill my Cup, its flowing over.
I am the Dream, you are the Dreamer.
There is no yesterday, no tomorrow.
And I am here for you right now."
Suzanne Sterling
We are Vigilant Guardians,
Divine Architects
balancing
duality within Nature's design,
for each other and for Gaia.
For she is the Dream and
we are the Dreamers.
