10. Resilient Cycles / Spinning Wheel

2010 Year of the White Metal Tiger
( passionate toughness, modest generosity)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"A Year of Wealth that's earned
with
 dutiful honest hard work. This is a
dependable, Family Oriented Year
White Metal Tiger, shows Loving
dedication to work for Loved Ones.
Emotions and feelings are expressed
through action and deeds. Forgiveness
is offered to nurture and support Friends."
(Google Chinese Astrology / Horoscope)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Embodying the energy of White
Metal Tiger, we stalk Winter Darkness,
to leap into Light at Summer Solstice.
Grazing on refreshing, cooling foods,
we celebrate in brisk, water currents,
nourishing our dusty, weary Spirits.

Living close to the Earth on an

Almond Ranch, in California,
Harvest is a plentiful blessing.
Lush, ripe, fresh fruits, and
vegetables, are enjoyed from
Summer's gardens and orchards.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
According to Chinese Medicine,
heated Summer months, rule the
Heart and the Small Intestine
When an Organ System becomes
over-stressed in its Season, a
difficulty shows up next Cycle
Summer is a good time for
Detoxing the Body/Mind.
Adding fresh squeezed lemon
and mint to water and tea, can
be a refreshing, cooling treat.
It's time to enjoy the Bitter taste
of dark green leafy vegetables,
organic coffee, tea and chocolate.
These foods, in small quantities,
 can restore internal heat, if needed,
but one must stay hydrated for Health.
( Staying healthy w/Seasons by E.M.Haas, MD)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When we listen to our Body/Mind
dialogue we find that Joy and Sorrow
are the Heart emotions of Summer.
Engaging in fun activities, like
swimming, camping, hiking and
rafting, can ease Summer angst.

Life evolves in shifting
Annual,

Seasonal, Monthly, Weekly, Hourly
and Moment to Moment Cycles
They spin as Sacred Wheels within
Ancient Astrological Zodiacs for
the development of Soul language.

Archetypal energies of the Summer

Season invoke the feelings of Cancer
the nurturing, home loving Crab.
These creatures can be intuitive,
introspective, creative, protective,
and sometimes overly-sensitive.

We all can relate to wanting to feel
the comfort of home, family and
peaceful domestic environments.

#9- Resilient Silence / Holy Initiate.

"True Silence is the Rest of the
Mind; It is to the Spirit, what
Sleep is to Body; Nourishment
and Refreshment." W. Penn

Withdrawing from Life, to contemplate

my Soul PathI embrace an awareness
of vitality and also Human Mortality.
Within a calm, protective sphere

of Silence, I embrace this gift
of Solitude and pray gratitude.

As the Holy Waters of my inner-Lake
still, Divine Reflection guides me to
cultivate patience and acceptance.
Respecting paths of others, I pray
 healing, hope, love and peace to
encourage weary Soul Questars.

At times my Soul yearns to
withdraw
from Society to live alone in the Woods
near some water like Henry D.Thoreau.
Then another urge grows, calling me to
create conscious community, improve
education, as Dr. Maria Montessori.

Meditating by the River, I am guided

to plan a visit with a Spirit Kin Couple,
who are Ministers at at Unity of Davis.
It has been 9 years since we worked
and prayed together in conscious
community at Unity of Modesto.

Our morning meditation
deepens
as a solo acoustic Female Guitarist
begins to strum rhythms and sings.
Male Minister greets congregation
without co-minister wife this week,

who is in service in Walnut Creek.

His relevant message aligns with
my own, that God dwells within
and Heaven is a state of being.
He encourages us to quiet all our
busy "Mental Chatter", and to plan a
retreat from the 'Noise of the World'.

Remembering that we have forgotten

to do this, we taste deliciousness of
Silence, which increases resilience.
Body, Mind and Soul restored,
Spirit begins to flow more freely
out into the world of form.

8- Divine Adjustment / Reflective Resilience

"Sometimes Prayer is the best Medicine."
" Maat, Egyptian Goddess of Truth, Law,
and Justiceinvites us to become the
Silent Witness /Observerto use wise
discernment,before making Life Choices
For it's in moments of Clarity, that we see
through the veils of Illusion, delusion,
and Deception / Self- Deception."

"Maat, is known to preside over the
Judgment of the Dead, placing her Self
or a Featherin Divine Scales opposite
the Heart of the Deceased, to test its
honesty and its truthful intentions."
A. Arrien

Maat, makes herself know in my
life processes, most recently in the
form of a slow drifting Owl Feather.
Examining its soft, delicate stripes,
hold the Owl Feather to my Heart,
and release attachment to the Past.

Emerging from an 8 year initiation
traversing the 'Valley of Death',
I take a breath and still my Mind.
Grieving the loss of my First Love,
some Uncles, Cousins, Friends and
Canine Companions has been brutal.

Enduring the transitions of so many
loved ones, strengthens one's faith
and tests the fabric of one's resolve.
Being a living, breathing, conduit for
Divine Justice within each moment,
requires great personal discipline.

Embodying objectivity, as buttons
are pushed, is a true Sacred Practice
that challenges the Heart's Resilience.
Courageously, we can face our Shadows
with a firm grip, compassionate hands
reining in our Feelings and Emotions.

Discerning fantasy, wishful thinking
from reality, we learn the limits of
what we can do and what we can't.
We know what we can handle and
realize when to surrender things
to God/ess, Divine Guidance

Honoring this Wisdom, allows us to
fulfill our Personal and Professional
commitments, to walk a Sacred Path.
Walking, talking, singing, dancing, etc.,
we remain grounded, mindful, using
practical skills to attain our goals.

" Uniting Thought, Emotion and Feeling,
with clear intention, our World mirrors
the effect of our Heartfelt Prayers.
(Gregg Braden)
